Tavia, a native of Fayetteville, NC has an outgoing personality and a passion for “living your BEST life” now! Tavia is the Owner and Principal Event and Wedding Planner for Events that SPEAK!, a full service event management and consulting firm where Creativity, Innovative ideas and Communication meet Excellence! Last summer she stepped out on faith and decided to follow her passion for event planning as her full time career. Tavia stated “planning local and destination events for over a decade part-time has brought me so much pleasure that making it my full time career was what I was destined to do!” During her awesome collegiate experience she received her B.A. from Hampton University in Hampton, VA and M.S. from Howard University in Washington, DC. Over the past ten years, Tavia has been practicing as a Certified Speech Language Pathologist for the public school and private practice settings in Washington, DC, Maryland and Metro Atlanta. Two years ago, she married an awesome man and relocated to the Atlanta area. Traveling, enjoying the cultural scene, philanthropy and spending quality time with family and friends are top priorities in her life!
